Mobility 2030: Lake Tahoe Regional Transportation Plan

The Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) identifies numerous transportation projects targeted for implementation in the Tahoe Basin through 2030. Transportation needs in the basin vary from those of pedestrians and bicyclists to those of commuting motorists and resort visitors. Projects identified in the RTP range from water quality and traffic flow improvements on major highways to the installation of new bicycle paths and development of a ferry system on the Lake.

The RTP seeks to improve mobility and safety for the commuting public while at the same time delivering environmental improvements throughout the transportation network. Previous versions of the RTP and other regional planning documents are available at the Related Documents link on the left.
